Meet the Writer/Artist of TF!
Quick Facts/Favorites

(The above is myself as a Ketio, plus Gims, my little mischief maker of a cat, who has been partial inspiration for a few bits of TF here and there ^^ It's actually a WIP for now, and I'll update it to the completed, colored drawing once its finished.)
Hello! I'm Michelle R. Blackthorn(my pen name), but you can just call me Blackthorn or Michelle! I am the creator of Terra Fera, the writer of its stories, and an artist! TF has been, I'm pretty sure at this point I can call it this, my life's work since I was in 4th grade o_o I first began developing it then, creating the characters and stories in my head, and then by 5th grade I finally started writing things done. In 6th grade was the first time I had ever drawn Dez, the original main character, and my lions at that point looked like bears XD I'm pretty sure I burned all those old drawings, so don't even ask if you can see them... The Terra Fera series has gone through several complete revisions over the years since, but my passion for writing and drawing has never changed! I love art and literature, and Terra Fera and its stories have been a huge outlet of those for me. What Are My Plans for the Future of TF? My hope is to have TF's world grow and develop fully within a few years from now, and to have at least completed one or two of the Shape Shifter's Curse novels, but I'm always coming up with side projects and new content or characters for the series and world, so who knows. I've made several attempts at a TF web-comic, but all those ideas have fell flat, or I lost interest. However, Where Our Lives Have Led, the RotD side story about Whitethorn and his wandering years, is showing more and more promise in potentially becoming a comic I may do! Whether or not I do one is purely dependent on how life goes for me in the coming years, though, so don't get any hopes up. I currently have no serious intentions to formally publish the TF series. The novels are, for now at least, strictly web-novels, and can be found on my Booksie or Deviantart. Will I ever formally publish any novels? I honestly have not a damn clue as of right now. I am also currently into Dungeons and Dragons quite a bit, and have several campaign ideas that actually take place in a adapted version of Terra Fera, and do run TF campaigns. It is possible that I may release some of the TF DnD content in the future on DM's Guild, but I somewhat doubt it. For now, it's just my own little pet project as a DM. It so far includes a complete rehaul of most of the PHB races, custom races(5 of which were made from scrap), custom backgrounds, a full custom pantheon(technically 3 pantheons), and a custom Day Dream class, which is a unique spellcaster. I also reintroduced exotic weapons from 3.5 into 5e. |
