Time
God of Time and shape shifting, a lover of riddles, and the "painter" of creation. One of two king-like gods.
Time, along with Nature, always existed, he and Nature being the first two beings to exist at all. He grew bored of the simple riddles and mind games he would play with Nature, and decided to make a real challenge. He created for himself forms, both spiritual and physical, for before he was merely an essence, simply existing. He also created for himself several physical forms, and his spiritual form being able to match them. His favorite he called "Wolf".
In the Nian culture he is "blamed" for the Lycan curse, and is generally considered the cause of werewolves(humans who become wolves), as well as being the god who blessed the royalty and nobility of True Wolves with immortality, saying they would never fall by his hand.
He is the father of the Day and Night, as well as the goddess/demi-goddess Mariet.

Nature/Utura
Goddess of Nature, earth/nature magics, and mothers. Creator of all things, and as Time was the "painter", she is the "sculptor".
When Time dared her to his challenge after showing her that he had given himself form, she decided to be unselfish with her powers. She created the mortal, living realm, and created beings to live there. She also made her son, Fate(aka Hakon to the Nians) who would rule over the lives of these mortals.
She has no form, and is said to have put herself into the "rock" that would become Terra Fera, giving it life. According to these beliefs, she is literally what makes the world go round.
The mother of Fate, Death, and Life.
Even among those who don't believe in the gods anymore, or believe they are dead/gone, Nature/Utura is the only divine entity that is considered to still exist. However, to these people, she is more of a force than a being, an unknown force that rules their world in ways few can begin to comprehend.
Many Nians hold the belief that she chose them as champions of her power, and gave them dominion over plants, which have the deepest connection to Utura of any life form on Terra Fera. They have a high respect of her, and even though Niana was so well known for it's mass production of lumber, it always seemed that for every tree cut down, a dozen took it's place. Nians believe that Niana is highly blessed by her, and the entire country is her sacred ground. Many temples, if not most temples, have a shrine to her. Her greatest temple is in mountains on the northern edge of Niana, where monks, priests, and priestesses live in a peaceful community taking care of the land around the temple, and in the valley below.

Fate/Hakon
God of Fate, and to the Nians also the god of rulers and kings. He, along with Time, is considered a king among the gods.
A bit of a control freak, Fate does not like it when things don't go his way. He keeps many of the deities on from Nature's descendants strictly in line, his siblings particularly.
He was the husband of Deception, or the Dark Goddess as she would be called, and married her in order to keep an eye on her. Together they had three children, the oldest two being twin brother and sister, War and Destruction. Deception seeded the idea in the minds of the two young gods that Destruction was not really War's sister. One thing lead to another, and eventually the deities who would be known as the Fallen Gods, even called demons, were born, and then soon cast out of the realm of the gods, and bound to the mortal realm by their grandfather Fate. They would grow to be powerful, and loved by their followers, unlike Fate who had few as he was the one who released these "demons" upon the world. Eventually, when Deception showed her true colors, the Fallen Gods and Fate reconciled their differences, and helped in destroying the Dark Goddess.
His third child with Deception was Fire, who was raised by Life instead of her mother.
The Nians worshiped him gladly as a god of rulers and kings, and many Jarls and kings have been named after him, as well as towns and cities. His temple in Utur, the capitol city of the Nipari clan, still stands and remains well taken care of by the priest and priestesses there.

Night/Havardr
God of night, and protector of the mortal realm and all who live in it. Son of Time and Moriet, the "Light Giving Moon".
A gift to Nature's mortal realm, Night was put in place in order to provide relief from the blazing sun, and his sister Day. His coolness and darkness would shelter the mortal realm by night, and protect his followers from the evils that also haunted the darkness. Not everything in "darkness" is evil, they would be famous for saying.
Night's first wife was a fox, but his father didn't approve, wanting him to return home. Night and his spouse were happy, and they soon had children. However, Time asked Fate to curse the children. These children became the ancestors to Fox Shifters, only being able to take their natural form of a fox under the watchful eye of their father. This, however, did not deter Night, and he refused to return home. When he and the fox had more children, all daughters, Time once more turned to Fate. Fate refused, telling Time he would not part take in this petty argument between father and son anymore. This is where Deception, overhearing Time's request, came in. She offered to cursed the daughters, similar to how Fate had. Time agreed. These daughters of Night became the first Vixxen, an all female race, who would be servants of Deception, and as such, master liars and thieves. They were also considered exceptionally beautiful, and many became priestesses or followers of the Fallen Goddess, Temptress, the goddess of beauty, love(more like lust), and vanity.
Not long after the creation of the "Five Brothers"(Man, Lion, Bear, Wolf, and Gryphon), Time became greatly displeased with mortals. Not even Utura's wise words could sooth his anger and stave off his wrath. Time wished to wipe the slate clean and start over. However, Night intervene, calling the mortal realm his chosen home, and that he would defend it with all he had, and for this reason, the mortal realm was spared.
Still refusing to return to his father's home, Night later married a human woman. She died giving birth to their daughter, Sorrow. It was said that no one ever felt grief as great as Night did when his second wife died. He finally returned home to his father's realm and took with him his daughter.
He later married for a third time, and this time is was Fate's daughter Fire. Together they had two sons, Magic and Truth.
Nians still believe that he walks the mortal realm from time to time. Some say Havardr had another wife at some point, and their children were cursed by his parents and were the first lycans. Havardr has a few temples scattered across Niana, mostly Northern Niana. In Utur, he and his sons share a great temple, and for generations, warriors came their to seek his blessing, as well as scholars who sought his wisdom and the knowledge of his sons Magic and Truth.

Day/Helka
Death/Dara
Life/Nive
Fire/Eira
Fire, also called Eira, is a balance goddess of Fire and Heat. She is the daughter of Hakon/Fate and the Dark Goddess.
Etahoro
Etahoro, sometimes just called what his name means which is "magic", is the god of Magic and the Unknown.
Etahoro was born to the fire goddess Eira, and her husband, Havardr, the lord of the Night and protector of mortals. Etahoro brought to the mortal realm, his father's chosen home, a gift to mortals, and that was the gift of his own power. Mortals would come to call this gift many things, most commonly, "magic". He taught his craft to mortals, but was careful in this, making it so that different races could only learn certain types of magic. He learned from the other gods and divine beings other forms of power, and formed these into new types of magic which he could teach to mortals. With his help, the sick could be healed, the weak made stronger, and no one ever had to be alone again.
However, many mortal manipulated his gifts to them, changed them to their own uses. Some used them for good, but others for evil. When Etahoro tried to stop this, Utura, his great grandmother, stopped him, saying he was becoming blind to the truth like his grandfather Time. She showed him how these things he called "evil", were not necessarily evil by their nature. Shadow Magics, for example, could be used to harm another, yes, but at the same time they could be used to conceal oneself from one who wishes to harm them. Utura promised him that her Order would keep the balance of forces in check, and Etahoro listened to her wise words.
During the Dark War, when the Dark Goddess, Etahoro's grandmother, brought eternal darkness upon Terra Fera, Etahoro fought alongside his brother, Magni, the god of Truth, and Agnar, the fallen-god of Wrath and their cousin, against the Dark Goddess' forces. In the final battle, one where many other gods joined the fight, Sorrow, Etahoro's older half sister was killed by the Dark Goddess, Sorrow being only half divine and half mortal. Etahoro, who so loved his sister and always protected her, joined by Agnar and Magni, attacked and defeated the Dark Goddess. It was Etahoro who stuck the final blow and released the world from the darkness. Like his father before him, he would be remembered and loved as a defender of mortals. He lived the rest of his divine existence in the mortal realm, supposedly in Niana in the Argipari region, where Sorrow was said to have been born.
Etahoro was known as a rather prolific "ladies man" among the gods, charming both mortals and divine with his beauty and his parlor tricks. He has many children, but two rather stand out in history. One was a girl from a village in Liahetur, who was very beautiful. She was called "Dairadara", and was the envy of all the other girls in the village. So jealous of Dairadara's looks, they began to spread rumors that the girl was a witch, a worshiper of the Dark Goddess and user of dark magics. These were of course false, but the more the rumors spread, the more the villagers believed them to be true. Eventually, during one winter night, they dragged the girl from her home, and brought her to the village center to burn her as a witch. Furious of the terrible deed that was about to be done, Etahoro came, rescuing his daughter and letting all know what would come of them if they dared to harm her again.
A similar situation again happened to his son Petrus, who was the son of a Snow Ketio noble lioness. Many believed the cub cursed or that his father was of the Fallen Gods, just as they believed with Mariet, the daughter of Time, generations before. Before things became worse for Petrus, Etahoro went before the Snow Ketio king and claimed Petrus as his son. From there on out, Petrus was not bothered, but he preferred isolation, as he would still get looks his fellow Ketio. He became a shaman for the Snow Ketio, a go between of sorts between mortals and the gods.
