General Info
Fae. Fae-Folk. Fairies. Call them what you wish, on Earth they may just be legend and myth, but on Terra Fera, they are very real. From the smallest little pixie, to the tall and remarkably beautiful Telia, the Fae of Terra Fera are not like the Fairy Tales we're used to on Earth. These are not the magical, friendly kind of fairies every little kid hears about in childhood stories. These are the baby snatching, thieving tricksters, blood drinking and flesh ripping fiends, monstrous nightmares, or fierce warriors who would often be the villains if they appeared in a story. Some may be peaceful, but most have a darker nature to them.
All Fae are somewhat humanoid in appearance. Some are hardly identifiable as anything but human. Most have some sort of power or energy they feed on or need to survive, or even themselves emit. Often the most simply looking Fae have been the most dangerous or most powerful. Some take pleasure from causing pain on others, others seek to heal the pain.

Telia
Meaning something like "people of light", the Telia are generally a very peaceful race, at least in their homeland, Mi-Pari. Telia typically have an affinity towards nature and/or water magics/elements, usually one or the other depending on the individual. One of the few Fae who don't really have a darker side, they are normally very peaceful, and heavily respectful of Nature and her power over their lives. Most still believe in the ancient gods, favoring Nature/Utura, Lytos/Thor(if from Niana. God of storms/thunder/lightning), Vitus, and Roxanna/Mianaiet("She of Water", daughter of Vitus the god of Oceans. She is the goddess of love and purity).
Telia live off a diet of almost strictly meat. They are excellent hunters and fishermen, but due to their respect of Nature, never take more than needed, in fear of her wrath.
On Mi-Pari, they live in villages, which are part of a greater clan. Each Telia has their own role, which they decide for themselves at the age of 17, and each help the clan by fulfilling the responsibilities of their role.
Outside of their homeland, Telia are fierce warriors, abandoning their peaceful natures in order to adapt to the harshness of Terra Fera. In Capareon, Niana, and the Far South, they have pretty much the same clan structures as on Mi-Pari. On the Eastern Continent(where Tallez is located, and just north of Mi-Pari) they live in smaller, nomadic warrior clans, lead by a chieftain. The chieftain rules over his clan and is often the toughest warrior among the clan. The position of chieftain can be challenged for, and these fights are often to the death. If the chieftain is killed/defeated, typically the winning challenger will take one of his daughters(maybe a niece if he has none) as their wife, out of respect for the old chieftain, making their families one. If the old chieftain wasn't killed, he won't try to take back his position, respecting that his challenger was better than him. These clans travel from place to place, mostly avoiding other clans, but when conflict arises, a bloody battle will ensue until one clan is dead or has withdrawn.

Elves
Elves in Terra Fera, are the half breeds of the Fae and human worlds, coming from Nian, Capareon, or Talleon, as well as Telia ancestors. They have somewhat pointed ears like the Telia, but lack all powers and elemental affinity of their Fae ancestors. They are fully assimilated into human society, and are treated just every day people. (They are the only Fae, or rather half Fae, known to exist in human public knowledge.) Some elves do know about the Fae, and their societies, but since many were first rejected by the Fae as Fae, they live as human, and most have no idea they are anything but human. They have a normal, human lifespan, but rarely get sick, and are more physically fit naturally.
Moaerika
"Darkness Watchers" or some call them "Sin Watchers", they are fairly human looking, but are always blind, and often look sickly or sometimes hideous. They also have two hearts, the second heart being the source of their power, which is they can cause others to act out on their darkest desires, jut by touching them. They take great pleasure in watching others suffer at the hands of those they touch. Their spell over their victims can only be broken if their second heart is destroyed. If the Moaerika is killed, and the second heart is not destroyed, it will continue to magically beat, and the spell will not be broken.
Their origin is unknown, but it's said they were the cursed offspring of Mischief, the master trickster god, and a Fae woman. Cursed by the Dark Goddess when Mischief finally took his brothers' side in the War of the Gods, the children were forced into service to the Dark Goddess instead of their father's more harmless way of life. The Moaerika became like spies for the Dark Goddess, and sowers of her seeds of her dark will.

Water Sprites
These Fae are reminiscent of mermaids, but are a genderless(generally considered "male" however. He/him/his, and calling one another "brothers") species and don't reproduce by any normal means. They are found in the oceans of Terra Fera, even in some of the colder region(but not the Frozen Seas). They are generally considered immortal, but if killed, a set of twins are born of the slain Fae. They are also shape shifters, able to take on the form of a type of water drake, or able to have a somewhat humanoid form(shown), which has dragon scales down the tail half. Their "hands" are actually much more like drake paws. They are generally considered a neutral species, but when forced into a fight, they are a fierce and devious race, often drowning victims, or in the case of water breathing creatures, dragging them onto land.
They don't actually need to eat anything while in their natural, humanoid form. They survive off mystical energy emitted by crystals called "Star Shards" by most of TF. These Fae are only found where these crystals can be found, as they can only survive about a week without contact with one of these crystals. If in their drake form, which isn't always preferred by most, they can live off normal means of sustenance(fish namely).

Tellosi; Giants of Kakarmn
Standing a little roughly 2.5 meters tall at the shoulders, the Tellosi(tel-lohs-eye) are TF’s origin of the Giant legend. Although called Tellosi by themselves and other Fae Folk, meaning “gentle people”, old Talleon legends speak of “tall, dangerous, giant men”. In these legends, a fierce Talleon king by the name of Fergus and his warriors drove out or slaughtered all of these so called “monsters” from Tallez and the entire Western Continent. The Tellosi in truth, however, are, by all accounts, literal peaceful giants. They never posed a threat to the Talleons, and didn’t stand a chance against the genocide against their kind caused by fear of the unknown in the men of Tallez.
The Tellosi do still thrive on their homeland of Kakarmn, a huge island nation. Here, they live simple lives, in small family clans, led by a matriarch. They are one of the only Fae to raise and keep domestic cattle. The cattle they raise were once wild relatives of the cow native to Kakarmn, and are a large breed. The Tellosi have a rather similar look on life as the Tellia of Mi-Pari, and are peaceful cattle herders. They are also nomadic, as to not have their herd over graze one area. They sometimes trade cattle for goods with the Tellia of Kakarmn, or other Fae.
The Tellosi aren't exactly beautiful by nature, but are by no means ugly or hideous. They are pretty much human in appearance, though like a lot of Fae Folk, they have pointed ears. They often paint symbols on themselves, representing their family clan. Their cattle are also often marked with the same symbols, as to not be confused when two families meet, or even travels together for a time.
Tellosi live a good few centuries, but not as long as some Fae, like the Tellia, who can live well over 900 or even 1000 years.
