For the most part, after the "What is Terra Fera" question, the rest are pretty much answered as if TF was in fact a real place! Obviously, it isn't...
What is Terra Fera?
Terra Fera is the name of the world where my stories, namely the Shape Shifter's Curse and Rose of the Desert series, take place.
Where is Terra Fera?
Great question... let me get back to you on that! Just kidding!
Terra Fera is in an unknown solar system that is very similar to Earth's. Its possible it could be in an entirely different universe or alternate reality. Where TF's solar system is is completely unknown actually.

How did life come to be on TF?
Well, let's just assume for the most part like it did on Earth. Some of Terra Fera's lifeforms are completely native to the planet, while others are actually from Earth, and came to TF through some sort of "portal".
"Portal"? What portal?!
Yes, I said "portal", for lack of a better term. This "portal" is a less then theoretical force that has displaced beings from Earth onto Terra Fera, and possibly vice versa. Scientists from Terra Fera have long debated over and searched for this "portal", but to no avail. Whatever controls it, whatever it is, it won't give up its secrets easily.
Where is this "Portal"?
Well, actually, there are several. On Earth, likely locations would be: the UK(Scotland maybe specifically?), Scandinavia(?), somewhere in the North American Great Plains, Africa, and India.
On TF, the locations would be namely what is now Capareon, Niana, Tallez, and the Far South. Specifically as per their real world counterparts:
UK - Capareon and Parmoae (Namely displaced ancient Celtic people. Their descendants would be the Capareons and Talleons. Later would displace a group of Roman soldiers and civilians, who would also be the ancestors to the Capareons.)
Scandinavia(?) - Off the coast of modern day Northern Niana. (Displaced Vikings who would become the Nians.)
North American Plains - Tallez (Displaced the ancestors of TF's "Firntia", and the only elephant relative on TF, which would have come from mammoths.)
India - Tallez (or rather the region south of Tallez. Displaced rhinos and tigers mainly, giving rise to the Tallez and Mi-Pari rhinos, and the Ketsuli, or "Striped Cat".)
Africa - southern fringe of the Far South (Displaced African lions as well as a few other African species, and set them loose on the semi-tropical plains of the Far South.)
Unknown origins (both Earth and TF) displaced various other mammal species. TF's truly native life forms are all dragons, reptiles, birds, and fish. No mammal truly originated on Terra Fera.
